Picnic Allsorts is finally here and has been penned in for the 18th April from 4pm at the University Amphitheatre (big bit of grass next to the library).

Organsised by Bradford Uni's LGBTQ Society it will be a space for everyone and anyone to come along and socialise at a non-alcoholic alternative to the popular Allsorts club nights and will hopefully see a range of LGBTQ people attend to 'network' and generally socialise with others in different age ranges and sexual identities.

Yorkshire MESMAC are once again putting on a LGBT Youth Day. Held each year in the centre of York, it a fun day of varied activities for LGBT young people to get together and socialise as well as providing support and resources. Previous years have been lots of fun and well worth attending.

This years event will be on the 21st of March from 11.30am till 4.30pm in central York.

Blagy members attended the first Equity Partnership LGB Awards on the 25th of Febuary at the National Media Musuem to accept the award.

Blagy beat 6 community groups to be voted Most Innovative Community Group by Equity Partnership members. Members were presented with a crystal award from Belinda O'Hooley (acclaimed Lesbian musician) to mark the occastion. All of our members would like to thank the Equity Partnership and everyone who voted for us.

Also taking awards away with them were the Women's Equity Theatre Group for Art and Creativity and Yorkshire Housing for Most LGB Aware Public Sector Organistion.

Falling Into The Beautiful Thing Called Love... A Poem

Writer’s block…Everyone suffers from it at some point, and now is hardly appropriate. If I was writing fiction, I’d be more sympathetic, but the fact I’m writing about myself, who I was, what I am, no excuse would suit. Why I’m writing this? I have no idea.

So, where do I even begin to write about the last year? So much has happened. I guess to really understand the full extent of it, you have to go back a while.
